Chapter 3. For Their Sake
Part 2. Blaze of Glory
The clone troopers slowly dragged Jordan towards a cell. “Lord Vader will deal with him,” one said.
Jordan slowly came to. He noticed a few fuel pipes on the walls, then quickly used the Force to pull them from the wall. Deadly amounts fuel fumes went everywhere poisoning the clones. Jordan used Force Breathing to protect himself and took his lightsaber from a clone. “A foolish move,” he said. Alarms were going off everywhere. Jordan was running down the long hallway defeating every clone trooper in his path.
“We’re heading back to the base! All forces to your battle stations! The Jedi’s loose!” shouted a voice over the intercom.
The large doors to the bridge slammed shut in front of Jordan. He shoved his lightsaber through it, cutting it into a large circle. Quicker than expected he was through. He pushed the large chunk of loose metal with the Force, creating an opening in the door. There where only two clone troopers in there and another one working the controls. Immediately the clones opened fire at Jordan. The Jedi deflected both the shots back at them, then he ran to the one at the controls and used the Force to make him fall asleep. “The fuel leak is bad. I won’t even be able to land down on Coruscant.” He looked at the screen on the control panel before him. “Wait, what’s this?” The screen showed a large clone army down there. “Hmm, I can’t land without killing myself…” Jordan steered the ship straight down, heading right towards the army. 100,000 feet… 80,000 feet… “So this is the end,” he spoke through the Force. “Nillanthir, I wont be coming back. You must protect the remaining Jedi. You will be a great Master…” The view screen filled with fire. The ship became a burning star nearing the end of its life. 3,000 feet… “May the Force be with you, my old Padawan…”
May the Force be with you, my old Padawan… The words echoed through Nillanthir’s mind. He looked straight towards the direction where he can see out of the window. He could see a large ship as a fireball flying down and then an explosion brightened the scene. Nillanthir turned his face away, he didn’t want this to happen at all. Now Master Jordan is dead… I have to be strong for his sake, Nillanthir thought as a single tear formed itself and fell to the floor. He could hear nothing but the teardrop hitting the floor, the sound of battle quietened as he lost his focus. This sudden shock left him paralysed… His former Master was gone for good and he took countless of clones with him. He always had to go with blazing glory.
