Order 66. Another Side, Another Story – Chapter 5. Coruscant Exodus, Part 1

Chapter 5. Coruscant Exodus

Part 1. Saving Master Jordan

It only took less than five minutes to follow the huge rising smoke that was the ship that Jordan crashed into the planet with. Nillanthir slowly and secretly landed his ship nearby. Nor-Ca followed him and landed just beside him. The two got out. Hiding in the shadows of the towering buildings they scouted the area. They found a large number of clones having surrounded the ship while a small squad entered the wreckage.

“Looks like about fifty of them,” Nor-Ca said. Nillanthir simply nodded and drew his lightsaber but didn’t ignite it. Nor-Ca followed the same movements.

“Here’s the plan. We’ll split up briefly and come at them from both sides. I’ll give the signal. Amakusa, come with me, but remain hidden from the clones at all times.” The other two nodded in agreement and then went separate paths in the shadows. Nillanthir quickly reached his spot and waited till he could sense Nor-Ca at a comfortable spot. Nillanthir focused his mind on the Force.

NOW!’ Nillanthir yelled through the force and both he and Nor-Ca leaped out at the unsuspecting clones. The first few clones only heard the familiar sound of a lightsaber igniting before pain and death greeted them. The sounds of blaster fire, lightsaber swings and the falling of clones filled the air for only a few minutes, but to the two lightsaber wielders it seemed longer than that, both fighting with slight difficulty but eventually taking care of them with ease.

The blasters stopped firing. The two Jedi deactivated their lightsabers. Both rushed inside and Nillanthir focused only on the small spark he felt within the Force. Nor-Ca could only follow. To his senses Master Jordan was dead. Nillanthir then quickly stopped and Nor-Ca stood still as well, quickly holding Amakusa before the boy bumped into him and fell over while trying to keep up with the others.

The sounds of multiple footsteps were coming towards them. Nillanthir could sense these were from more clones. When they turned around the corner they were suddenly cut down by two lightsabers. The two then sheathed their lightsabers and Nillanthir reached the cockpit. The door still worked and it opened to reveal a terrible sight. There lay Master Jordan, unconscious, only on the fringe of life and death. His Jedi robes were almost completely shredded and burned and horrible burns and wounds covered most of his body. Nillanthir kneeled by his side.

I hope this works…, Nillanthir thought as he focused himself on the Force. He decided to use the same technique that he used with Bultar, but Jordan’s life force was slightly stronger than Bultar’s, so Nillanthir wouldn’t need to use as much of his life. He knew this could affect Bultar, but he had to save Master Jordan. Nillanthir’s strength was slowly leaving him as more of his life force was being used to save another. Nillanthir then stopped and using what little strength he had he healed most of Jordan’s burns so they wouldn’t hurt anymore. He then felt a calm peace over himself and he fell onto his back into an unconscious state. Before his eyes closed once more he saw Jordan’s hand twitch as new life developed within him.

Nienna was about to leave hyperspace to Qu’uban, in the Outer Rim, when she felt a tremor in the Force.

Nienna… There was not just one person who had whispered her name through the vast and cold stellar space. They had been two people and Nienna almost could swear that it had been both Master Jordan and Master Zerati who had called her through the Force. Although she was still training as a Jedi Padawan she was very sensitive to the Force, especially with those beings that needed healing. The stars stopped to be gelid lines outside and they returned to their normal aspect. The white and radiant light with some blued tones flooded into the cockpit of her starfighter. An acute whistle followed by several beeps indicated Nienna that she was in front of Qu’uban.

“R5, thank you. I already noticed it,” she sighed. “But we should return. Please take the course one point seven point four.”

The droid emitted a lingered beep similar to a complaint.

“I’m sorry, R5. It is necessary. Master Zerati is in trouble.” And probably also Master Jordan, Nienna thought to herself.

Introducing Order 66. Another Side, Another Story

Ever since a group of shoes held a birthday party a long, long time ago (though in a galaxy not that far away) a little boy’s appreciation for creation was born. And so, throughout the following years shoes partied, a dinosaur travelled through time, oddly shaped football players went on adventures, a young wanderer became a knight, a comedian rose to godhood, Jedi fought an evil empire, a war between cyborg warlords and human-insect hybrids engulfed the world… The boy had learned how with only words on paper (and from times to time a few pictures) he was able to bring people, places, even entire worlds to life. By now that little boy has reached almost the third decade of his life and his love for telling stories has not ceased. And finally, long after he had planned to, he has decided to share these stories with the world. Whether you are a new or already familiar face: welcome to this little archive of mine! This is a place where I will, finally, actually be sharing my writing with others. It will feature pretty much anything I feel like sharing, both old and new stories, fan-fiction and original content, and probably some non-fiction added in at times. So, if you like reading, writing, stories (or me ^_~), drop by, drop a comment (I can’t promise I’ll get back to you quickly, since I’m horrible at that, but I’ll do my best) and, drop it like it’s hot. … Sorry… ^_^; In any case, I hope you’ll enjoy yourself and I look forward to seeing you around!

Who? Just your average descendant of two sea-faring peoples, recently graduated anthropology Master and aspiring author with a life-long passion for writing.

What? Uhm, human. I think... Also a bit crazy, but in a good way. I think...

Where? A land under the sea, far, far away. Occasionally with my head in the clouds.

Why? Trying to get both my work and my love for writing out there, sharing them with others and getting in touch with fellow writers, artists and other like-minded people.

Hi! ^_^
