Order 66. Another Side, Another Story – Act II: Chapter 2. Reunion, Part 1

Chapter 2. Reunion

Part 1. Back Among Friends

Shamila was the first to awaken from the meditation and looked outside. The sandstorm was lying down. Bultar opened her eyes only moments after the young Padawan. Shamila turned her head. “Is it time to go yet, Master Swan?” she asked.

“In a moment,” Bultar said. “And it’s alright to call me Bultar,” she added with a smile. The girl nodded and checked if the two lightsabers, her own short one and a longer one that once belonged to her old Master, were still attached well to her sash. For a short while Bultar looked at Vhiran, who was still deep in a meditative trance, and sighed. “Vhiran,” she whispered. Silence followed, then Vhiran slowly opened his eyes and looked at the barren landscape of Zaloriis outside.

“I found the others. You got everything ready?” he asked while turning to Bultar and Shamila. Shamila nodded, while Bultar tapped with a finger on her lightsaber and the food and water capsules on her belt and took Plo Koon’s holocrons from under her robe. Vhiran checked his belt for Master Koon’s and his own lightsaber and pressed some buttons, opening the Lancet’s cockpit. He then nodded at the others. Shamila jumped down on the planet’s surface and while her hand was placed on the short lightsaber, her dark eyes started flashing around. Bultar jumped after her as Vhiran climbed out of the fighter and closed the hood again.

“I’ve checked the area with all my senses, Master,” Shamila said when all were down. “And I sensed no danger around, yet.”

“Good. Master Loria trained you well indeed,” Vhiran said with a smile. “Then we better get going.” He led the others in the direction where he had sensed the Jedi that had arrived on Zaloriis before them.

Upon approaching a series of caverns, Shamila suddenly halted. “Master Vhiran, Bultar, I’m sensing five other people. And they’re very close,” she said.

Vhiran nodded. “I’ve sensed them too. Not to worry, they’re friends,” he replied and looked at Bultar, who started using her telepathy to reach out to the closest of the five minds.

“This is Bultar Swan. We’re approaching you now, Vhiran, Padawan Shamila and I. We’ll be with you in just a moment.”

Nillanthir opened his eyes as he heard the voice of Bultar. He knew the others heard it too. “I will go out and meet them. Stay here, all of you.” The others simply nodded and Nillanthir walked out and was greeted by brightness. He could sense where the other three were and walked in their direction. It did not take long for Nillanthir to see three figures ahead and he waved at them while continuing to walk towards them. At last the survivors of the attack on the Jedi Temple had been reunited. Nillanthir looked and he saw the third Jedi along with Vhiran and Bultar. She was a Padawan. She bears the future of the Jedi on her shoulders, along with the rest of us now…, Nillanthir thought as he stopped in front of the three. “Hello there,” he said. “Glad to see you have made it here safely.” So did you tell her yet, Vhiran? Nillanthir also said through the Force so only Vhiran could hear.

Introducing Order 66. Another Side, Another Story

Ever since a group of shoes held a birthday party a long, long time ago (though in a galaxy not that far away) a little boy’s appreciation for creation was born. And so, throughout the following years shoes partied, a dinosaur travelled through time, oddly shaped football players went on adventures, a young wanderer became a knight, a comedian rose to godhood, Jedi fought an evil empire, a war between cyborg warlords and human-insect hybrids engulfed the world… The boy had learned how with only words on paper (and from times to time a few pictures) he was able to bring people, places, even entire worlds to life. By now that little boy has reached almost the third decade of his life and his love for telling stories has not ceased. And finally, long after he had planned to, he has decided to share these stories with the world. Whether you are a new or already familiar face: welcome to this little archive of mine! This is a place where I will, finally, actually be sharing my writing with others. It will feature pretty much anything I feel like sharing, both old and new stories, fan-fiction and original content, and probably some non-fiction added in at times. So, if you like reading, writing, stories (or me ^_~), drop by, drop a comment (I can’t promise I’ll get back to you quickly, since I’m horrible at that, but I’ll do my best) and, drop it like it’s hot. … Sorry… ^_^; In any case, I hope you’ll enjoy yourself and I look forward to seeing you around!

Who? Just your average descendant of two sea-faring peoples, recently graduated anthropology Master and aspiring author with a life-long passion for writing.

What? Uhm, human. I think... Also a bit crazy, but in a good way. I think...

Where? A land under the sea, far, far away. Occasionally with my head in the clouds.

Why? Trying to get both my work and my love for writing out there, sharing them with others and getting in touch with fellow writers, artists and other like-minded people.

Hi! ^_^
