Today was a long and busy day and as expected very little writing actually got done. In-between working, traveling and appointments I managed to write about 348 words. It’s a lot less than the average daily amount of 1667 and I believe if I had used my time more optimally I might have been able write more… Eh, you know what they say about ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ and ‘mays’ and ‘mights’… Monday is a difficult day for extensive writing anyway and there are less full days on which I can more than catch up, especially considering the how the first day went. The most important thing is that, despite having very little time to write I actually did put some words on the screen today, 348 more than none, in fact and I did progress my story. To quote the opening to Rob Balder’s fantastic Erfworld: “It’s the little things which make a difference sometimes.” Overall, I think I can feel pretty good about things and continue with my head held high!
Also, as you might have noticed, Order 66 hasn’t been posted today. I got home quite a bit later than expected and still haven’t done the final proofread for this week’s part. It shouldn’t be a problem to fit it in some other day this week. So, for those following the story and hoping for its continuation: don’t worry, it’s on its way!
For now, though, good writing, goodnight and until next time! ^_^
