Random words of the day: Cabin. Compass
And we have contact! Yes, we’ve finally arrived at the point where chapter two ended. I suppose I’m kind of repeating a bit here, but I have to connect the parts somehow and I think this works fine.
Today’s words were fairly hard to fit in, but while compass found its place not too long into the writing process, cabin proved more difficulty. Had this been chapter three, I might just have named one of the scorpions Cabin, but that opportunity didn’t present itself here. Fortunately it worked out in the end. ^_^
The Artist’s Tale. Chapter 4
Meanwhile near the chapel’s entrance
Lied the pieces of its gate
A charred trail shaped just like a runway
Ran for many meters straight
At the trail’s end rose a tall spiked ridge
Where the giant gull was seated
Below, among the capsicums
Lied its enemies, defeated
Like the needle of a compass
The bird’s head then turned North
Where, near a cabin, from a bush
Five creatures scuttled forth
