Order 66. Another Side, Another Story – Act II: Chapter 6. Last Dance, Part 6

Chapter 6. Last Dance

Part 6. Last Blood

I see you practiced since the day we parted. To think my style was the key to your evil ambitions,” Aoshi spat as he prepared to attack again.

That’s enough!” Nillanthir yelled out. “I am not evil! The Jedi are not evil! We were all deceived by the Emperor… And Vader as well!” He then stood up and prepared to defend himself. Aoshi placed both of his kodachi in front of himself, crossing the blades.

It is time for me to stop holding back. I will show him the power that was nurtured and trained with supremacy and without pause, Aoshi thought as he suddenly leaped towards his opponent.

Nillanthir then saw the attack, two kodachi with crossed blades, aiming for his throat. He quickly leaped up to avoid the attack and bounced off the ceiling above, performing a Ryu Tsui Sen towards Aoshi, striking at him with a powerful downward slash. Aoshi raised his still crossed kodachi and he barely blocked the attack. Nillanthir then bounced off them and then leaped behind Aoshi and leaped away from Aoshi’s swing. He landed on his feet and blue eyes stared at green. “I guess there is no hope for you now. You have thrown everything away to kill the Jedi, especially me. As your friend I will have no choice, but to end your agony,” Nillanthir said as he deactivated his lightsaber and put it away. He reached for his katana and stepped forward with his right leg.

If this is to be the end, then I will hold back no longer and end this,” Aoshi spat coldly and threw off his coat. He then flipped his kodachis to backhand fashion and the two just stood there, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Nill…, sounded a small voice and Nillanthir slightly fell off focus.

Aoshi saw this and ran. I shall end him with my most powerful technique, the Kaiten Kenbu Rokuren! Aoshi thought as he reached Nillanthir and swung with his left hand, beginning a six slashed attack. Nillanthir quickly went back into focus and saw the kodachi heading for his throat. Without thinking and with the will to live, he stepped with his left leg. Silence filled the room as Nillanthir stepped forward. The two figures stood still. Two kodachi and a katana gleamed in the dimly lit cave. Nillanthir had never moved so fast. He felt an extra burst of energy when he stepped forward, almost as if someone else had given him more energy. Nillanthir then stood upright and sheathed his sword.

I’m sorry…,” Nillanthir said softly to Aoshi and the handguard of the katana then met the mouth of the sheath, making a slight sound of metal touching metal. Aoshi felt blood come from his mouth. He then felt pain tear from his right torso to his left shoulder. He was sliced in half cleanly. Aoshi’s eyes stared in shock and no words came out his mouth. His soul left him as he fell, broken in two. Nillanthir waited a single moment, then he let go. He collapsed onto the floor a single cut showed itself on his left torso, extremely close to his heart. Pain wrecked his body and he could barely focus on what to do. He reached his new wound with his hand and he focused on healing. He could feel the wound starting to close up on itself and managed to keep the wound from bleeding. He then felt a familiar feeling and everything started to feel dizzy. I have to get out of this habit, Nillanthir thought as he collapsed into unconsciousness once more.

Introducing Order 66. Another Side, Another Story

Ever since a group of shoes held a birthday party a long, long time ago (though in a galaxy not that far away) a little boy’s appreciation for creation was born. And so, throughout the following years shoes partied, a dinosaur travelled through time, oddly shaped football players went on adventures, a young wanderer became a knight, a comedian rose to godhood, Jedi fought an evil empire, a war between cyborg warlords and human-insect hybrids engulfed the world… The boy had learned how with only words on paper (and from times to time a few pictures) he was able to bring people, places, even entire worlds to life. By now that little boy has reached almost the third decade of his life and his love for telling stories has not ceased. And finally, long after he had planned to, he has decided to share these stories with the world. Whether you are a new or already familiar face: welcome to this little archive of mine! This is a place where I will, finally, actually be sharing my writing with others. It will feature pretty much anything I feel like sharing, both old and new stories, fan-fiction and original content, and probably some non-fiction added in at times. So, if you like reading, writing, stories (or me ^_~), drop by, drop a comment (I can’t promise I’ll get back to you quickly, since I’m horrible at that, but I’ll do my best) and, drop it like it’s hot. … Sorry… ^_^; In any case, I hope you’ll enjoy yourself and I look forward to seeing you around!

Who? Just your average descendant of two sea-faring peoples, recently graduated anthropology Master and aspiring author with a life-long passion for writing.

What? Uhm, human. I think... Also a bit crazy, but in a good way. I think...

Where? A land under the sea, far, far away. Occasionally with my head in the clouds.

Why? Trying to get both my work and my love for writing out there, sharing them with others and getting in touch with fellow writers, artists and other like-minded people.

Hi! ^_^
