Random words of the day: Powder. Referee
Yes, yet another new character! Ha, and you thought George R. R. Martin gave you a lot to keep track of! I might have to find other ways to deal with the words that are hard to implement than just turning them into character names. On the one hand, it could offer more variety and a better challenge, but then again, I’ve been enjoying its results thus far and it has really left its mark on the story. We’ll see where the road will take us, I suppose
xxI must note that I really enjoy the imagery today’s stanza brings about. It’s a part I’ve been able to picture mentally more clearly than many that have come before. For all it’s more serious and dark moments, The Artist’s Tale is for the most a part a rather silly story. There hasn’t been much opportunity for parts like this and I’m grateful today’s words allowed me to change that. Please enjoy. ^_^
The Artist’s Tale. Chapter 5
Beneath the early sun
A baby mouse ran through the glade
And just behind it followed suit
A brilliant parade
Accompanied by radios
All playing vibrant songs
The creatures in that great parade
They marched to right some wrongs
The endless crowd moved lightning fast
Like a shooting star it went
For they knew they’d be refugees
If it came to the Event
One of the creatures stopped and turned
The tiniest red mite
“Looks like we’re almost there!” it called
“The iceberg is in sight!”
Around the berg’s sharp peak
Stormed fierce gusts of powdered snow
While on its top sat Referee
The court’s most senior crow
